Poem 33 ... Man oh man
Man oh man ..... by Derek Hinks
Man oh man what a mood I'm in
If I had windows I'd kick 'em in
If I had a cat I'd boil it's head
Then eat it's eyes with a slice of bread
Man oh man what a mood I'm in
They're gonna know where I've bin
They're gonna see a bloody trail
Of bulls balls and sucked dry snail.
They're gonna see puppy's brains
Comin down like tropical rains
They're gonna wish they'd stayed in,
Man oh man what a mood I'm in .....................
Poem 32.......... Time's end..............
Time's end by Derek Hinks.
We vowed to love did she and I
Until the end of time.
Now her love is no-longer mine
She has not broken her vow,
For though alone I sit and cry
No matter, for the end of time is now .............
Poem 30.. the morning after..
The Morning after... by Derek Hinks
The morning has arrived again
And the mouth is dry.
Sleep restrains the eye from opening.
The ear's are to lazy
To sort out the hazy sounds of the street,
Here today I shall remain,
I shall not challenge the world today..
Poem 29 Lunar...
Lunar.... by Derek Hinks.
She has a soft and mellow light
Which even the darkest hour of night
Cannot make harsh with its contrast.
Her very shape is a gentle kind
A shape surely formed by mankind
With looks of wonder in times long past
Poem 28.... Just me...
...Just me.. by Derek Hinks
Time and chance are partners old
Space and thought are as the same
Unaware of thoughts I cast the mold
And watch as a universe plays my game.
Orbs of time and spheres of chance
I spin stretch halt or dice,
What visions shall space enhance
What heat the sun or spread of ice
Shall the earth suffer or greet
Who shall conquer or admit defeat?
I am destiny, I am fate, I am life.
Within the skull, behind the eye
That which is straddles the knife
Awaiting the moment they, and my brain shall die...
